Why did the animals get rid of "the bits, the nose rings, the dog chains, the crol knives and the intruments, and what were they feeling while they were getting rid of them? What point was Orwell making with this event?

The animals get rid of anything that symbolizes their enslavement by Mr. Jones and humans in general.
