This is from I am am predicting scene 2.

In the scene, Mrs Birling comments in Gerald's working too much. She tells Sheila that she will have to get used to men spending all of their time and energy on their work, just as she did. Sheila's view differs as she playfully tells Gerald that he'd better be "careful."
