An Inspector Calls

How is Social Class portrayed in an Inspector calls?

1) How do the Birlings react to the death of the working class girl (EVA).

2) Whats the difference between Sybil/Arthur or Sheila/Gerald. (Think about their roles and responsibilities in society in 1912)

3) Differences between high class and working class.

Example:

Social class is a significant theme in a Inspector calls. Priestley uses a variety of ways to show this to the audience. For example, the Birlings show no "remorse" towards the death of Eva smith. The reason for this is because Eva is lower class compared to the Birlings. Also, she is a woman.. Woman had no rights in the 1912 This shows that in the 1912 woman were seen as inferiors.
