    Learn about some the social themes of the play

    Structure:

    Ask students if they have ever heard the phrases "blaming the victim" or "victim blaming." Provide a basic introduction to the phenomenon: when a victim of a crime or misfortune is held partially or wholly responsible for the harm they have come to.
