All Quiet on the Western Front

The film does not romanticize warfare and show many of the miseries of WWI. For the soldiers, in the trenches were worse than what is shown in the movie. Would you still go to the war if you felt that your country was threatened? Describe your reasons

No, I personally wouldn't due to the very low chance of survival for the new comers. After a few years your chances of survival went up because you were learning more and more expirienced. But the health conditions were still extremely poor and you were sorounded by rats, disease, mad men, and warfare.
