Is All Quiet on the Western Front an accusatory book? why or why not?

Remarque claims the novel is not accusatory, but his words speak far louder than his claims. There is never a point in the novel when we aren't completely aware of the author's feelings and opinions..... his stance against the war and its atrocities shout from the novel's pages. The harsh view the author presents cannot be miscontrued.
