How do Kat, Paul and the othes treat the reinforcements?
It has not been long since Paul joined the front. Kat has taken him under his wing so Paul feels like an old hand now. Both Kat and Paul are quite nice to the young recruits at first they have a little fun with them. Kat knows they are hungry so he offers them the beef and beans which he has traded for. He also tells them to bring something to trade the next time they want food, “Next time you come.....has a cigar or a chew of tobacco..." On the actual front they take care of the young recruits when they are able. Under gas attack, for, example Paul runs out of his hole to fit a paralyzed youngster with a gas mask.
