Explain how Larry's Tree is a biblical allusion to Adam and Eve.

Some critics feel Miller uses the apple tree in reference to the biblical Garden of Eden. The tree marks a place where, like Eden (Adam and Eve are expelled after committing sin), the tree represents the stress of not facing the truth as well as guilt and innocence debated throughout the whole play.
