Attempt a character sketch of Mrs Beck

I see no evidence of a "Mrs. Beck" in the novel. I do, however, see that she appeared in an episode of the television show. I that episode, Brink of Disaster, Mrs. Beck complains about her bill (vet) and worries about how her cat will survive a gas attack. At this time, the British haven't yet entered WWII.
