Can someone summurize Aunt Anna’s story. What happens to her and her family?

Aunt Anna is Gerda’s father’s sister. She has two children, Miriam and David. The Weissmanns hear stories about the horrible experiences she had to go through. She moves to Poland to escape the Nazit but is never heard from again.
