how does alice fall down the rabbit hole?
Alice does not fall down the hole. She sees the white rabbit, is intrigued, and willingly follows him down the deep rabbit hole.
Hi Tammy and Harry, I think you both are right. First Alice follows the rabbit, but when far enough in the hole, she starts falling and falling. Here is a couple of quotes from the Alice in Wonderland book about the rabbit hole event:
'Either the well was very deep, or she fell very slowly, for she had plenty of time as she went down to look about her and to wonder what was going to happen next.'
"What if I should fall right through the center of the earth... oh, and come out the other side, where people walk upside down." –Alice

But how does she fit down a tiny rabbit hole? Or is the white rabbit really big?
