Everyone's lives change after the day. People flee their homes, fuel is scarce, convicts are running loose, finances disappear, cities have been destroyed, communication is hampered, doctors are busy treating people for radiation burns, the electricity is out, water is running low, people are reading because other forms of entertainment are gone, and trading posts pop up everywhere.
