Was mr. Murry of being a tesser a good decision? Why

Mr. Murray's decision was likely not as good an idea as originally believed. He left for all of the right reasons, but those reasons meant nothing if he couldn't make it back home. His children were put in jeopardy during their attempt to bring him home. None-the-less, the purpose was more important than the danger, thus, his decision stands on the side of right.
