Yes, everyone's life can be a sonnet..... in fact, many sonnets. Sonnets of happiness, fear, isolation, exhultation, anger, remorse, belonging..... and of course, sonnets of love. Meg's sonnets could include all of the above; Calvin's sonnets might speak to isolation, and later, belonging. Meg's father's sonnets could be sonnets of discovery (exhultation), remorse (leaving his family), and love..... going home.
