How does alfieri regard this second encounter, in hindsight?

I'm sorry, my copy of the play doesn't mention Alfieri's name on either of these pages. My copy shows a conversation between Beatrice, Eddie, Marco, and Catherine...... Catherine dancing with Rodolpho. This scene takes place in Act I.
