    What was the reason behind the loneliness of Granny Lin?

    Granny Lin suffers loneliness owing to the tragedies in her life. The store in which she works, goes bankrupt and the man whom she looks after dies by slipping in the bathtub. Although she was not responsible but still, she is blamed for his death. After the death of the old man, she works in a school and there she saves a boy from bullying by other students, but despite of all her efforts, she is dismissed from her job.

    Why does Han refuse the marriage proposals?

    Han’s mother shows him the pictures of girls whenever he comes home. His mother wants him to get marry but he refuses the marriage proposals because he was a gay. He does not tell his mother initially owing to her expectations regarding her son. She considers himself a perfect marriage material and calls him a ‘diamond bachelor’ but at the end of the story his mother gets to know that he is not a perfect match. She recognizes the reason behind his refusal.

    Sansan does not marry anyone owing to the betrayal by her fiancé and her best friend. Tu marries Min because Sansan asks him to marry her in order to help her. They decide that Tu would leave her after some time. After marrying Min, Tu breaks his relationship with Sansan and starts living a happy life with Min. The betrayal of Tu and Min breaks her heart and she rejects the prospects of marriage.

    Sansan lives a solitary life of a virgin and does not agree to get married so the society alleges her of being a wrong woman. The people think that she is involved in a physical relationship and she is not a virgin. They consider her an unclean woman. Even her family accuses her of having an erotic and physical relationship with Tu. Her family considers her sexual relationship with Tu as a reason of denying the marriage proposals.
