Should Stanley be punished for the rape?

I think Stanley should be punished for rape if Blanche resisted his advances in any way. Within Stanley's limited emotional understanding, he felt that Blanche's sexual history with other men gave him license to sleep with Blanche. This, of course, is not a defense for rape.
