A Streetcar Named Desire

A little Class help please

Im having a hard time with this... can someone help make it a bit more clear??

One of the strongest human drives seems to be a desire for power. Discuss how a character Street car struggles to free himself/herself from the powers of others or seeks to gain power over others. Be sure to demonstrate how the author uses this power struggle to enhance the meaning of the work.
