what is the most adventerous thing gene has done? i am writing a paper and i am stuck on a paragraph about gene's adventures. i know he has jumped off a tree, he has entered the SSS, and stuff but what is the most adventerous thing he has done that has ended up him lossing his innocence?

While not adventurous in and of itself, shaking the limb to cause Finny to fall is the most serious act he commits that leads to a loss of innocence. Given that he is later accused of purposefully harming Finny by Brinker, and then has to deal with Finny's death following an operation Finny needs after learning the truth, this single event sets up most of the novel's conflict.
