A Room of One's Own

What point is Woolf trying to make when she invents Judith Shakespeare in “A Room of One’s Own”?

If William had been a female, he would have never had the chance to be great.
If William had been female, he would have had an easier time getting into the theater.
If Judith had existed, then William might never have written anything.
If William had had a sister, then he might not have been a genius.
