What did you think of Mr. Lindner's statement that "most of the trouble exists because people just don't sit down and talk to each other"?

Mr. Linder is a hypocrite. He insinuates that racism can be solved by a heart to heart communication. His only motive for coming over is to convince the Younger family to move out of the neighbourhood. He does not want the community "ruined" by having blacks living there.
