a modest proposal

Does Swift go to far? That wold be a matter of opinion. The first time I read A Modest Proposal, I was appalled. I didn't take his sarcasm very well. Today, I read his words and understand his sarcasm. I know that he is making a political statement. Note, I felt very differently the first time I read Swift's proposal, and it has taken multiple (hundreds) of readings for me to actually come to this opinion.

None-the-less, you have to have a sense of humor......
