Christian Allegories

Hi!
Any suggestions on christian allegories shown in "A Christmas Carol"? I've got some, but every suggestion is welcomed:)

Scrooge as a miser is somewhat similar to the rich man in the Bible whom Christ tells will not get into heaven until he gives everything away. The transformation of Scrooge into a generous person thus parallels this story somewhat.
