what lies/half-truths does the Party teach about history?

There are so many it is difficult to know where to begin. Places, people and events are changed as to agree with Party dogma. All legitimate historical records from the "old world" were destroyed. The party writes a new history to match the doctrines of Big Brother. An example of this is that Capitalism was rampant in the old world and the party saved the people from massive inequality.
