Minstry of Truth

Ministry of Love

Ministry of Peace

Ministry of Plenty

Each ministry performs in the oposite way as we would take them to mean.

The Ministry of Love tortures political prisoners.

The Ministry of Peace wages an endless war against "enemies".

The Ministry of Plenty controls and rations food to the point of starvation ans supplies to the point of forcing underground sales.

The Ministry of Truth (where Winston works) spreads lies and propaganda.
