why does georgiana decide to let her husband remove the birthmark even though it may cause curless deformity, or it may be the stain goes as deep as life itself?

Georgiana knows that her husband is disgusted by the mark. Thus, she tells him that if there is the “remotest possibility” that the mark might be removed, she would be willing to take the chance. The danger, to her, was a risk worth taking if it meant she would no longer have to bear the burden of his disgust.
