based on theses selections, what was einstein's opinion on war and peace ?

From the letter, we can infer that Einstein believed atomic warfare the definitive in gaining peace. His letters to the President put forth information he has garnered and advise the President as to the interest the Germans have also shown in procuring uranium. This can only mean one thing.... that he believed either the United States or Germany would be the first to produce the bomb, and that he supported the United States in the race to get it done.
